All roses are sold bare root - this means they are not in a pot but rather wrapped and ready to plant in your garden. Bare root roses are generally much more vigorous in
the first year than their potted counterparts.
​
The roses below have been very carefully selected. Everyone of them is repeat-blooming, fragrant and highly resistant to disease.
All rose orders must be pre-paid. Our inventory sells out rapidly; please do not send payment until we have sent you a message confirming that your selections are available.
Roses will be available for pick-up in North Saanich in late February or early March, depending on grower harvesting conditions.

Abraham Darby
SOLD OUT - One of the most beloved of the Austins, this highly-fragrant rose is usually sold as a shrub. We recommend treating it as a small climber - it is stunning around an obelisk. $35
Belinda's Blush
FEW AVAILABLE - A blush-toned sport of the famous 'Belinda's Dream'. The blooms of this extremely floriferous rose are highly fragrant and have great vase life. Canes are thornless. A top selection in 2020 of the rigorous American Garden Rose Selections panel. $35
Bobbex Deer Repellent
The best anti-deer spray money can buy. Completely natural, safe for kids and pets. Will not gum up your sprayer! This is a concentrated bottle that is mixed at a rate of five parts water to one part Bobbex - it will last you all season even with a large garden. Fantastically priced at $40.
Boscobel
SOLD OUT - An absolute heart-breaker in deep pink with apricot undertones. Reddish buds, a very attractive plant. $35

SOLD OUT - A highly fragrant Austin with gorgeous cupped blooms that open in palest peach tones and age to creamy white. A well-behaved beauty. $35
Emily Bronte
SOLD OUT - Available for the first time in North America, this rose is sure to gain a cult following. Pale pink blooms are flat and wide, to better display heart-breaking apricot tones around the eye. $40.
Lady Emma Hamilton
SOLD OUT - Among our very favourite Austins, this rose is an absolute knock-out in every way. A very attractive shrub even without flowers. The buds are a dark cerise, and open into hues that will quite literally glow in the evening hours. One of the best scents of any rose, in our opinion. $35
Lady of Shalott
SOLD OUT - A perennial favourite of rosarians around the world, this shrub has a beautiful, elegant form. May be grown as a shrub or small climber. Tones of salmon, gold, butter and copper. $35
Mary Rose
SOLD OUT - This loosely-petalled beauty is all the charm of an English garden, packaged into one plant. Trained to a 36 inch standard. $75
Pillow Fight
ONE LEFT! This is an outstanding shrub rose that is extremely floriferous. At times, it can be hard to make out the glossy dark foliage behind the blooms. This rose is trained to a 36 inch standard. $75
Princess Alexandra of Kent
SOLD OUT - This rose has some of the largest blooms of any Austin, and a fragrance to match. We make sure to keep a single stem in the office throughout the season, and it scents the entire space. Beautiful petal arrangement. $35
Queen of Elegance
FEW AVAILABLE - Glowing with old-world charm, this floribunda has large, petal-packed blooms that will not fade, with an intoxicating old-rose fragrance. Slightly nodding flowers on an otherwise upright shrub give an absolutely charming effect. $35
Roald Dahl
SOLD OUT - Available for the first time in North America, this rose was named with Dahl's giant peach in mind. Lovely tones of buttery yellow, underpinned by pale apricot hues. A lovely scent and almost thornless. $40
Teasing Georgia
ONE LEFT! One of the most vigorous of all Austin's climbers, this rose is a workhorse. It will take quite a bit of shade, and doesn't ever seem to stop blooming. A deep yellow, positively crammed with petals. $35
The Ancient Mariner
SOLD OUT - A charming Austin which will take most shade than most, with an upright stature which makes it particularly well-suited for hedges, or gardens packed with a a few too many plants. Not that we'd know anything about that.... $35
The Generous Gardener
SOLD OUT - The blooms of this sweet climber nod ever-so-slightly, so they can be perfectly appreciated from the ground as they ascend up a wall or pergola. It will take more shade than most roses and will quickly grow to 15 feet. $35
Wollerton Old Hall
SOLD OUT - Stunning, chalice-shaped blooms adorn this lovely climber. Strong myhrr scent. Blooms open in the palest apricot and age to a perfect cream. $35
